Police open station in Jamaica gangster's old base

KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) — Jamaican authorities on Thursday opened a police station in what was once the slum headquarters of the island's biggest gang boss in a continuing effort to beat back a lawless culture that has defined the gang-steeped area for decades.
