RI bus monitor suspended after girl left stranded

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Officials in Providence, R.I., say they've suspended a school bus monitor after a 5-year-old girl was dropped off with no one waiting for her after the first day of school and she roamed city streets for more than an hour.
