Dan Carter to take rugby sabbatical

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — All Blacks flyhalf Dan Carter has confirmed he will take an extended break from rugby from the end of this year, missing most of the next Super Rugby season and New Zealand's home test matches next June.
