Obama warns GOP against shutting down gov't

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) — Casting an eye toward upcoming budget fights, President Barack Obama on Friday warned Republicans against trying to defund his signature health care law, vowing to protect spending on education, scientific research and America's infrastructure.
