Cardinals recall Blazek, option Martinez to minors

ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis Cardinals promoted a fresh arm from the minors for the second straight day, recalling rookie right-hander Michael Blazek from Triple-A Memphis and demoting rookie right-hander Carlos Martinez.
