Prosecutors drop charges against Mexican generals

MEXICO CITY (AP) — A Mexican judge on Thursday ordered the release of five high-ranking army officials accused of aiding a drug cartel after federal prosecutors dropped organized crime charges against them citing a lack of evidence.
