Cavendish wins stage 5 of Tour; Gerrans keeps lead

MARSEILLE, France (AP) — British sprinter Mark Cavendish won the fifth stage of the Tour de France in a sprint finish on Wednesday and Australian veteran Simon Gerrans kept the yellow jersey.
